How your child is supported in a mainstream school
All pupils should have their learning needs met at school or college. This includes children and young people with SEND.
Support for all children with SEND
Your mainstream school should do everything they can to meet your child's needs. This could be by bringing in specialist educational support services. The school must tell you when they are making special educational provision for your child.
They should make sure that children with and without SEND take part in school activities together.
