We would like more communication from the LA about what support is going on in Walsall.We have introduced a SEND Services Communications. These communications are distributed every five weeks to schools and families. The communications share updates, highlight services, and promote participation opportunities. I don’t know what each team is – no explanation for terminology or professional. I would like more support in understanding what support my child can get in school as they don’t need an EHCP. It is all very confusing.We have updated the education tab and created a new page on the Local Offer called Ordinarily Available Provision to explain clearly how schools and settings can meet children’s needs through ordinarily available provision and the graduated approach.November 2025
